More photographs..
REPRESENTATION:
The representation of all of these photographs (including the ones below) is to create a sexy, stylish look which readers will be interesed in. These images connote a fun, confident woman which is very important as i wanted to create these theme throughout all of my photographs.

These are the photographs i took for my magazine planning..
MISE EN SCENE:
I got the model to wear funky clothes which are likely to be seen in Hip Hop and RnB videos. For example shorts, trainers and a baggy t-shirt. These are some of the conventions of RnB clothing. I also put alot of make up on the model to make her face stand out alot. Her hair is open which is quite a typical style, however makes her look slightly more glamorous. As you can see in some of these photograph's she's wearing sunglasses which make her look slightly mysterious and sexy, these are the types of looks i was aiming for.
SHOT TYPE:
I have used many different shot types in these photo's, this is so that i would have a range to choose from.
PROPS:
I have used a bouncy castle which the model is jumping on, this was to make her seem slightly childish, however i do not think i will be using this as it does not fit into the theme i am aiming towards. I also used a small bicycle and bench which the model is posing on, this was to make it easier to show of her legs and so that i had different angles and shot types. I also used headphones to make it seem like she is listening/recording music as she is supposed to be a famous singer/songwriter.
LIGHTING:
As you can see these photographs have been taken outside in daylight, this is so that the model will have natural light on her and the pictures will therefore come out more brighter and make the model stand out more.

This is a second idea for my double page spread. As you can see i have chosen to add two photographs on either side of the page, along with information next to them. This will be questions and answers from an interview. Just like the other flat plan, i have included the page number, magazine name/logo and i have still added quotes to engage the reader.

As you can see i have placed a photograph on the left hand side and the interview questions and answers will be on the right hand side of the page. This shows an equal amount of text and writing which makes it easier for the audience to read and it very simple. Also the logo/magazine name and page number will be written at the bottom of the page, this is so the spread will be recognised as part of the magazine. I have also included quotes on the top left hand corner of the page, this is to catch the readers attention to carry on reading the article.

This is my first idea for a contents page, half of the page will be text information and a photograph on the other side. This will make the amount of text and photo's equal and there will not be too much of one. The text will include what features will be on each page; things such as free items and what will be on the double page spread.

Second idea for the front cover of my music magazine. A you can see this has more information on the left third as the eyes are naturally drawn to the left hand side as that is where we start to read. The photograph will still be the largest item on the page as this should stand out the most, as well as the masthead which will also be quite large. Just like the other flat plan, there is a skyline above the masthead to give the audience more of an insight to what is included in the magazine.

FLAT PLAN OF FRONT COVER

This is one idea for the front cover of my music magazine. As you can see i have placed the model credit and selling line on the left third of the cover as this is the first thing readers will see when looking at it. However i have placed the button/flash and the barcode, dateline and issue number on the right hand side. This evens out the amount of information of each side of the page which makes it seem more spread out and less 'cramped' on one side. I have also placed the photograph in the centre of the page as this should be the thing which stands out the most, as well as the masthead which will also be quite large.

Question 2: What do you look for on a music magazine cover?
Most of the people who were asked answered; a well known photograph of a celebrity with alot of information that is going to be included in the magazine. Also short phrases taken out of the magazine to catch the readers eye and give a taster of what will be inside.
